Just make a simple turntable animation in Blender and render the frames out as separate PNG's. Then load that PNG sequence into VirtualDub and save it as animated gif.

this is absolutely amazing! your method of IK~ing is flawless! i am gonna have to try this myself..

Well the IK part works ok but the rig as a whole is not perfect since it does have some problems with the shoulder area. It's pretty hard to rig so that it'd deform properly in every pose :/
